The location, rooms, balconies, breakfast, and bike offer were fantastic.
Everything was fantastic.

Excellent place for a relaxed stay on the island. Close to the beach, we love to run in the mornings along the beach. We had a nice room on the ground floor with a terrace right on the dunes, great! Clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt and muesli, like we love. We skipped the croissants and white bread... By bicycle it is easy to visit all places on the island.

We absolutely loved our recent stay at Paal 8 Hotel Aan Zee! The location was perfect, right next to the beach and within biking distance of West and Midsland. The rooms were spacious and had great views of the ocean. The buffet breakfast provided a good selection and was included in the price. We also took advantage of the fantastic facilities including the swimming pool, steam room, and sauna, which were perfect after a day of exploring the island. we had a fantastic getaway break and would highly recommend this hotel.

The location is perfect. Staff very friendly, own bike rental possibilities, efficient and easy. Our suite was comfortable with a nice beach view
Breakfast was crowdy, long waiting queues and quality wisevnot really special. My wife and I did not use the swimmingpool/sauna facilities as is was crowded with sreaming children. Hotel is great for families (with children)...

We loved this hotel's location in the dunes, right near the amazing and beautiful beach! Our spacious rooms had balconies, and we enjoyed the cleanliness and convenience of the mini-kitchen with daily refills of coffee and tea. Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options. The staff were friendly and helpful!
Nothing not too like.

Clean, relaxed, elegant and spacious atmosphere.
internet connection didn't work so well with the prepaid cards (difficult to log out properly). Still, it was nice to not have to be tied to the laptop!

The hotel has amazing views, with rooms overlooking either the dunes or the beach. It's also really close to the city center, which makes it easy to get around. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever had, with a large variety of options including bacon, fresh orange juice, and different types of ham and cheese. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel lacked some personal touches and felt quite impersonal. The rooms were a bit basic and lacked some warmth.

Great location close to a large, beautiful beach and a view on either the sea/dunes or dunes. Breakfast was very good as well.
WiFi connection was not working at all in the hotel rooms (they said they were still setting up the service). It did work in the lobby. Food was arriving a long time after ordering at dinner in the restaurant.

location and peace
in many ways old and needs work (rooms, old mattresses, terace doors difficult to close, the pool change room area is terrible....)

Spent Xmas in a hotel by the coast and it was amazing! Loved waking up to the sound of waves and seagulls. The location was perfect, only a few minutes away from the beach. The room was spacious and clean, with a mini kitchen, which came in handy. We also appreciated that we could bring our pet along, without any issues. The breakfast was delicious, offering a lot of variety, and the friendly staff made our stay even more pleasant.
There was no aircon in the room and it got really hot during the day, which was not ideal. The balcony doors could be opened at night to cool things down, but this exposed us to noise and cigarette smoke from other guests.
